• The Condensed Matter Physics Division of the Portuguese Physical Society is organizing the 2nd Portuguese Condensed Matter Physics Meeting, to be held in Porto, 8 – 10 May, 2019. The venue is at Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade do Porto.

 

The main objective of the meeting is to promote contacts between scientists working in Condensed Matter Physics, in order to share experiences, to spread the latest information on progress in their specialties and related fields, to gain visibility for their research, to put young researchers interacting with their peers and seniors, and to develop professionally. The Condensed Matter Physics Division aims also at create a space for discussion and reflection of the area in Portugal and its international impact.

 

The program includes invited talks, oral and poster communications. Those interested in participating with communications (oral or posters) can submit their contributions in all areas of Condensed Matter Physics.

Registration (normal): up to 29 april 2019

 

Oral Presentation Guidelines:

Each oral presentation will last for a duration of 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of discussion. You are kindly requested to bring your presentation on a USB device or a CD during the conference. If your presentation contains any images, movie files or sound, please ensure that you have embedded these files into your presentation. We would also suggest that you bring these files with you on a USB device, as a precaution in the event of problems when checking the compatibility of your presentation with the audio-visual technicians in the speaker preparation room.

 

Poster Presentation Guidelines:

Poster Presentations Session is scheduled for 8 till 10 may in the Exhibition Hall at the times shown in the Program. Poster presenters will be assigned a poster presentation number shown in the Book of Abstracts. Poster size may not exceed 120 cm high and 90 cm across. Each board will be numbered in the upper left corner. Place your poster on the board number for which you have been assigned.
