1st Announcement

 

 FÍSICA 2014 – 19ª Conferência Nacional de Física and 24º Encontro Ibérico para o Ensino da Física – will be held in Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisboa, from Tuesday  September 2 to Thursday 4 September, 2014.

 

This biennial conference, organized by Sociedade Portuguesa de Física, joins in the same event researchers, teachers and students, including University and Secondary Schools, in an atmosphere of celebration and transfer of knowledge and experiences in physics.

 

The Conference and Meeting this year have highlighted the following topics:

 

  •  Physics Nobel Prizes: Higgs, Supernovae and the Universe, Graphene
  •  New Materials and Biomedical Physics
  •  International Year of Crystallography

 

Contributions are accepted in all areas of physics, for oral or poster presentation.

 

Important Dates:

Abstract Submission: April, 9th until 11th July

Reply to Authors: before 21st July

Registration (Standard): before 25th July

Manuscript submission for publication: deadline 12 April 2015
